from silent dreams we never wake
DREAMS FOR JUNE FOR 92).:
1). I was sitting in a chair with a bunch of other people. The chairs were all lined up and spaced evenly, 2 on each side of an aisle. We were all waiting to get on a space ship. We had to attach stickers to a page, and we were running late. Xander, from Buffy, was there, but he wasn't on the role. The screechy art teacher from high school was in charge. One of my uni friends wanted to take a soft toy with her, to flank her. My friends were worrying about the fact my back hurt, telling me to get it checked out but there was no time.
>> yay, space travel? I DON'T KNOW. K's bf says all dreams are wishes, but I reckon he might change his opinion if he heard half my dreams. But space travel isn't that crazy. I wouldn't mind living in a space ship for a while. I should watch Buffy more and I guess my uni friend might actually say that.
2). I was trying to analyse No Doubt lyrics but was getting hysterical because I couldn't remember the words. Mother dearest was getting cranky and told me to ask Dad.
>> H saved me from this dream. Part of me cursed him to hell for waking me but most of me is glad I didn't get to find out where that was going. I don't even listen to No Doubt.
3). I was going to the movies but the parking lot was the uni parking lot. H was driving us there in a giant car. We went into the cinema and my cousins were there but they ran away. My two uncles who currently live overseas, in different countries, were telling us to be quiet so they could watch the movie. I went outside and sat with Mother Dearest and someone. The someone and I were smoking. Mother Dearest hadn't noticed, until L came over and pointed it out. Then Mother Dearest got really mad.
>> This was straight after rolling over and deciding to dream of something better than No Doubt lyrics. H driving is me not wanting to drive anymore. NO MORE DRIVING. I will kill someone. It's a matter of 'when' not 'if'. I must have been convinced Mother Dearest was mad at me over something. I don't really miss my cousins and uncles, except for James. But thats more of a worry he'll kill himself or impregnate someone unless I somehow personally stop it 'miss'. So I don't get that. And I'm sick of smoking dreams.
4). T had a job interview at the Macca's near my uni. I thought it would be great because I could hang out at Macca's and do uni work while he worked and the catch a train back together. It was my first day back at uni so T and I were catching a train together. T guided me to the train because I was half asleep. We were on the train for hours before I realised we were going the opposite direction. I got really angry at T and stormed off, trying to find a train to get me back. Munchkin was on one of the platforms, wagging school. I couldn't read the screens telling me where the train was going because they had used the most illegible typeface. I was trying to use my phone to work out which train to catch; but couldn't decide whether to go home or to uni.
>> I was so mad at T when I woke up. So much anger. I almost called him and abused him but that would be silly, wouldn't it? Trains are annoying. I realise I have this idealistic view of Munchkin as a munchkin. Just a kid. It's not true though, he has leg hair and arms now. FREAKS ME OUT.
5). I was in an art class room with A and her two little friends from munchkins grade. One of them was talking about how her dad had sex with her friend in their front yard. The art room was actually a kitchen and I was making sandwiches. When it was time to leave, I had to take W home, except I was on a push bike and heading in the opposite direction of his house. I finally got home, but my bedroom was my old bedroom from the house on the coast. I crawled into bed and then magpies and ducks came out from under the bed. I was curled up in one corner, whimpering and calling out for Munchkin. I somehow got to my parents' bed. Parents told me I wasn't actually scared of birds. Papa went to go get them out so I could sleep. Apparently I'd left my window open. When I got to my own bed there were still eggs in it. I freaked out and ran away to the church monastery thing. The place where the monks stay. Half of it was burnt down because the catholic monks had stolen something from the buddhist monks, so the buddhist monks had burnt down part of the building as revenge. I wanted to have a shower and was standing in a bathroom but I couldn't because there was a monk standing at the ornate gate. He was also telling me I wasn't actually scared of birds.
>> I havn't had a proper nightmare in ages! I woke up terrified and couldn't get back to sleep. Birds in my goddamn bed, what the fuck. That's terrible. And I was making sandwiches again! I used to make sandwiches in my dreams all the time. And monks at war?! Does that not sound like a fucked up video game to you? The speeches of not being scared of birds is because of me trying to convince myself I'm fearless. Sub-conscious saying "fucking liar, let's throw some birds at her and see just how fearless she is". I don't know why my sub-conscious is so spiteful. Bitch.
6). I stole a No Stopping sign from a shopping centre car park for Rach. It was miniature though. I had to quickly get home because something was after us. My family and the builders were barricading ourselves in the bathrooms, there were too many of us for just one room. Munchkin was sitting in the spa bath while I put salt across the doors and windows and around the drains. No one else in the house was doing it right. I was worrying about a pet. Finally I got to leave to go to my own place, where I was ironing for Pop.
>> I watch too much Supernatural?? That's where the salt came from. And the sign might be because I sleep under one. I really do need to iron soon. I've been putting it off. Umm... I miss Rach? And Pop came over the week after this dream. I don't understand the worrying for a pet at all.
Ain't that a fun month. There were others I forgot which just royally pissed me off. I really need to get in the habit of writing something down as soon as I remember anything about the dream. Especially after drunk dreams. They're the most amusing and the easiest to forget.
I gave W a letter. How exciting. It also has nothing to do with his name. SORRY. I have 8 letters left. After that it's on to abbreviations you never get to know.

noodleness
This be the recipe from last month. SORRY. I keep feeling the need to say sorry. I know I'm forgetful and lazy but it's no excuse. I have a bunch of people telling me I say sorry too often, not just here, but in general. It's true. I say sorry too often. And then it changes to things like 'apologies' and 'deep regret'. Well not the second one. Yet. You catch my drift. So, recipe? YES. I am quite fond of it, it be delicious. It needs a better name though.
RECIPE: [NOODLE CHICKEN DISH]
ingredients:
200g rice stick noodles
2 tbs peanut oil
2 celery sticks
1 red capsicum
600g chicken thigh fillets, thinly sliced
1/3 cup roasted cashews
2 tbs soy sauce
1 bunch fresh coriander
method:
cook and drain noodles, following pack instructions.
heat half the oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add celery and capsicum. Stir-fry for one minute, transfer to a bowl. Heat remaining oil. Add the chicken. Stir-fry for two minutes or until cooked through.
stir-fry the noodles, peanuts, soy sauce, celery and capsicum, and chicken for one minute or until heated through. Toss through coriander.
SERVE.
Yay. I tried to write this up two days ago but got cranky at the fact that I couldn't copy and paste and therefore ran away. Anyhoo, A has already tried to remake it but got fancy with peanut butter and wine. That's kind of awesome and kind of terrifying at the same time.
THERE IS SO MUCH TO BLOG ABOUT. But so little time. Well not really, I just find other stuff to do. Maybe tonight :)

humble apologies.
I have been rather slack with blogging and list achieving and stuff in general actually. I'm honestly really sorry about that. Last week I was planning a come back of epic proportions and then Friday and Saturday happened ( which I will explain ) and then it was all a bit "Well this is just crap. Why do I bother?".
On friday night I was so ridiculously pumped for a night out. I felt like I had sat at home ALL week and seen no one and done nothing. So I was excited to brave the cold and spend too much money and get drunk too quickly because that is the beauty of being a light weight. And then plans fell apart. And everyone else had plans. Or were being responsibly out of character ( which was probably the biggest kick in the face ). So I stayed home, watched Supernatural and complained loudly. And then on Saturday night there was a Lunar Eclipse. Or a partial lunar eclipse. IT WAS AN ECLIPSE OF SOME SORT. Which is on my list, 13). See an eclipse of some sort. But I was sitting in Munchkin's room, watching Underworld, yelling at the main character for stealing my boots ( don't say she obviously had them first, logic isn't applicable here ), And not on facebook, where everyone was saying LOOK AT THE MOTHERFUCKING MOON, IT'S RED.
I did some research. The next Lunar Eclipse is in December. The 21st to be exact. I shall sit and stare at that goddamn moon and then cross it off my list. I don't know why it bugged me so much, but grr face. To the extreme. EXTREME.
To make up for my lack of list activities and blogging I'm challenging myself. I scoffed at going vegetarian for a month because I can barely survive a week without some sort of meat craving and my will power isn't the strongest. So instead I'm going July without jewellery for 82). I've got my boring earrings in and am showing my ring tan lines to the world. Once I find a camera ( mine is still AWOL, mostest annoying ) I'll show you what I usually wear. I want to document it. You can laugh at how much metal I carry around.
And tomorrow I'm going for a road trip :) T and I are going to the coast for the day and pointing out crap from our childhoods. I'm quite excited for it.

SPLENDID
I haven't written just a progress report ness in a while. Thought maybe I should update. How fun. Fairly certain last time I did this I explained it as a list of excuses of why I haven't been able to cross more off. Ah well.
Not really list related, but important all the same. Next semester of uni is coming up in a month and a bit. Yes, I have a lot of holidays. And no exams. So much fun. Anyway, next semester I'll be studying Illustration, Design Thinking, Digital Design Production and 20th Century Design Histories. The actual semester and learning and whatnot, I'm looking forward to. But the tutorial registration is what I'm fearing. Everyone in my course frantically trying to obtain the perfect 3 day week at the same time. SHITE.
Ok list. Ish. Shh. On Monday I went to the optometrist ( 6 months late ). Which got me thinking I should probably go to the dentist for 6). seeing as I haven't been since I was about 6 years old. Also, my wisdom teeth are still being annoying. And sparkly teeth would be fun. If they give me shit about my crooked tooth I'm gonna get cranky though. It doesn't hurt or bother me, I don't want or need braces. I should wait with the defensiveness until I get there. Sorry.
K and I went on an adventure yesterday to Chatswood. I'm still not sure why we went that far but I had fun :) On the way we went past this massive cemetery, and now I'm really keen to do 11). It's probably one of the weirder ones on my list but it's still something I really want to do. I just need to find someone to go with, otherwise I won't spend enough time and leave early, which I don't want to do.
There are some markets on a Sunday soon which I plan on going to with A :) They're goth/punk/hippie ness markets, which should make them even more fun. Sounds creeper, but I love to people watch, and people watching there will be awesome, what with the shoes and the hair. And then only 7ish more markets until I can cross off 25).
There is cake in my house. It's amazing. Muffins and chocolate mud cake. So there is no point for me to try a new cake recipe for 45)., so I'll end up using ANOTHER tuesday night recipe. I have already typed it out, A came over for dinner and wanted the recipe. How convenient. But that means no picture. Again. I've misplaced my camera ( again ) anyway. Hmph.
I'm sick of reading recommended books for 75). As much as I love the Anita Blake ones, you read 11ish books with the same characters you start craving new ness. And the last one had no story line, it was just violence and porn. This one I'm reading now seems better though. Still. E abused the read every book for 75). rule and so I'm going to read the millennium series and Harry Potter. I was going to read Harry anyway. And Mother Dearest would have recommended the millennium series eventually.
I am so far behind in blogging movies. It's terrible. I've watched all of Starwars, The Punisher, the A-Team and probably something else. And I'm going to the movies on Sunday. ARGH. Yep. Basically, shut up and write, bitch. But I'm the laziest person I know.

4). go somewhere in the boot of a car
B, N, D and I went to pick up the pizza last night. And I came back in the boot. YES. It was quite fun. Except B's car is kind of small so the boot was kind of miniscule. Which I guess is good because I wasn't moving around. We've been joking about this every time B and I are in the car together. I never thought it would actually happen. I've been negatively influencing too many people lately. Woops.
I'm glad it was a short trip though. As amazing fun as it was, I'd already had a drink and not being able to see where I was going meant slight motion sickness. Which disappeared as soon as I got out of the boot. But still, any longer in that tiny boot I would have cramped up and there would be vom. Ick. Although, if the car wasn't moving I could nap in there no problem. Liking coffin-like enclosed spaces probably doesn't say much for my mental health, does it?

movie #9
Second movie was Robin Hood. We weren't quite as excited for this movie as the first one. I was at that sleepy stage where I wasn't very good at following what was going on, and I needed to because I had no idea what was going on. I fell asleep for the epic battle scene near the end. There were archers and water and boats and people dying and I went to sleep. I thought Robin Hood was all about taking from the rich and giving to the poor but this was before he got to the vigilante stage? I guess. It was sorta confusing. It could have been any olde english war story. And I didn't understand the whole relationship with Marian.
The ranga from ER was in it :) made me giggle. He was running around with a cross bow, not saving people in a hospital. Odd.
I'm thinking 2ish stars. I don't feel right judging it, in that I didn't pay close enough attention, as it was 3ish in the morning. And movie seats aren't the most comfortable. Although D letting me put my legs up and moving the arm rest helped ( THANKY!!! ). And don't think I'm cheating in not blogging about the last movie, it was Kick-Ass, which I've already seen! Twas fun seeing it the second time though.
movie #8
I went to a movie marathon with a bunch of friends last night and had a lot of fun. I'm semi dead now though. I slept all day, rendering me temporarily nocturnal. And now I'm having a post-social, waste of a day pessimistic moment. It sucks. I want to go back to the high of staying up all night. Anyhoo... first movie of the night was Get Him To The Greek, which was hilarious. SO MUCH FUNNY. I love Russel Brand. It's probably got a lot to do with the brittishness. AND TOM FELTON WAS IN IT. I actually stopped breathing for the less than 20 seconds he was on screen, pathetic, I know, but thats how it is.
The songs were ridiculous. Brand is a washed up rock star trying to be cool again and singing these songs with the most strange lyrics. Like "Come home for my bangers, beans and mash" and "we all have the clap". I'm not describing it right, but the songs were silly, k? funny silly though, not annoying silly.
I don't really want to spoil it for you. I really want to see it again. 5 STARS. For definite. Go see it. Take me with you, if you want :)

book #8
Love and other four letter words by Carolyn Mackler was cute. The whole young adult fiction genre is odd in that you get some really intelligent complicated plot lines with memorable characters and themes and then you get books like this that have a just too happy ending. Nothing ever lines up that perfectly.Actually, it was kinda scary. Flash backs to sixth grade, when I was most definitely going to be a writer. It was more of a FUCK OFF, STOP ASKING WHAT I WANT TO BE WHEN I GROW UP. FINE. I'LL BE A WRITER? DOES THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY/SHUT YOU UP? And then suddenly I'm writing stories and going to writing workshops and imagining what the cover of my first published book will look like. Anyway, this book reminded me of this idea I've had for a book. I've had this idea for a really long time. I'm kinda keen on starting writing and seeing where it goes.
Anyhoo... the book. I hate when I can relate to lame main characters. I was able to relate to this chick in some aspects but all the other aspects were SUPER LAME. I don't know what else to tell you. I love that she got to go to New York. She should have been more excited/grateful. Her friends' theory that people look like dogs was cute. I also try and imagine what animal a person would be, just not limiting it to breeds of dogs ( mostly because there are small dogs and big dogs and that's about as far as I get in telling them apart ).
So 3 stars? Yeah. 3 stars. Good stuff.
p.s. I've ben trying to blog about this for a while now. There was uni and then no picture on the net and then utter stubbornness to get my scanner to work. The stubbornness paid off though, I now know how to use it. It's ancient though.
p.p.s. I have decided that once I've finished reading the Anita Blake series I'm re-reading Harry Potter. I can't put into words how excited about this I am. I love Harry Potter. I've been reading fan fiction for too long though and need to get the original plot line straight in my head. And I have all the Harry Potter's so there won't be any interruptions while I seek out the next book :)

8). Go to a concert
Last friday I had an epic city adventure, all because mother dearest wanted to take me with her to Angel Place Concert Hall with the tickets her boss gave her, for a concert at lunch time. CONCERT. I didn't realise until 2 days later that I could cross something off my list. I got stuck in my head that it would be a concert for a band, as in moshing and going deaf for three days. This wasn't a band. It was a quartet? I don't speak music, sorry. There was a chick playing violin, another chick playing viola, a guy playing cello and a chick playing piano. And they played Schuman's something something rather ( I'm guessing on the spelling ). It was quite pretty. I did enjoy it.
Before that I went to see K play guitar which was awesome ( she goes to uni in a frikin castle ). After I bought a jacket. For 5$. YEAH. And then M visited :) which was most exciting, as I have not seen her in months. But the important part of this story is: I get to cross something else off my list!!! FUCK YEAH!
Life was all a Dream...
DREAMS FOR MAY FOR 92). :
1). I was in an art gallery with a bunch of people and some friends. It suddenly dawned on us that the zombie apocalypse was worse than we thought and we needed to take cover rather than go about our daily lives. I went downstairs to tell cousin dearest that we needed to leave. He was a hippy artist and he didn't want to leave. He got eaten by a bunch of zombies. A couple of us were in a park wondering where we could go. There were houses across from the park with bars on the windows. The one we decided was safe had a giant elevator floor with a bunch of dogs on one level. One of the dogs was a shape shifter or something. I had to knock the owner out with a shovel. Once I got on the level above the one with the dogs I had lost everyone else. I realised I was really hungry but I couldn't get to the sandwiches which were in the basement, which was the level under the dogs. A friend from school showed up and was showing me how he'd tried to give himself a tattoo like mine but it was terrible. Everyone else was stuck in Kmart.
>> This was my last night in Melbourne. I woke up and giggled at how retarded my subconscious is. My cousin is the least likely person to become an artist. My friends are much too prepared for a zombie apocalypse for it to take me by surprise at an art gallery. So basically this dream is completely irrational. More so than usual. And I have no answers, so much so, I just procrastinated it. SERIOUSLY. I didn't even mean to. Umm... maybe I'm psychic. There will be a zombie apocalypse. I should avoid art galleries.
2). Papa had to drop me at school but mother dearest had told him the wrong time so we were ridiculously early. I was straightening my hair in the car outside the school, but it was primary school. I saw K crossing the road and got out of the car to tell her something but El was there too so I couldn't. They were walking around a cul-de-sac so I went into the school. T and D were arguing over whether T was 'jagged' or not. A was acting like a 10 year old. She had been dared to pee on a letter and then call the police. She walked into the other room, called the police, talked to someone briefly before an alarm went off.
>> Nup. I have no words. This is literally unable to be interpreted.
3). I desperately had to study but L and K got me to drink tequila with them in the school bus bay. Eventually I left, because I had to find and save Lucy and Piper, my grandparents' dogs, before they got to the ocean. Then I had to get my hair cut. Then I had to pull my study notes out of corpses' hands.
>> I really did need to study for typo. But I procrastinated and slept instead. And therefore dreamed that I had actual adventures preventing me from studying, rather than my own laziness. Oh, and I haven't tried tequila and I should.
4). I was staying in a summer house that had a wide verandah all the way round, with hammocks. Papa had aviators on and wouldn't take them off. He was trying to get a great tan and would change hammocks for optimum sunshine. H was standing on the front steps telling me it was time for him to go as if he'd been there a while but I hadn't realised he was even in the house.
>> I DON'T KNOW. Papa trying to get sun is weird. We're a very pale family. Hammocks would be fun about now. Also, summer would be fun too. Happy winter everyone. FARK. I hate being cold.
5). I had to visit someone in hospital but I had no way of getting there. I decided to take munchkin's scooter to where mother dearest was and take her car. On the way there was one of the drunks that talk to themselves from Kingswood station. He told me all my friends were at a party in Beecroft and I had to get there.
>> Why would I not just got straight to the hospital? WHY SCOOTER? I can't walk across a flat even surface without stumbling, adding wheels to the equation isn't intelligent. Ok, my sub conscious is telling me to exercise more, visit people and listen to people because they might tell you something important. Why I'd trust the drunk is a different question all together.
The sixth dream was also in Melbourne. I woke up, knew I'd forget it so wrote down quick notes, then went back to sleep. So my notes say "Papa and aunt. Party at train station". I cannot remember anything. I remember writing it but no recollection of what it means. Much frustrating.
I know I keep promising next month will be better, but I do believe this time I won't be lying. I have uni break after thursday. YAY. I need a job. If you want to hire me, let me know. I'm that desperate. Well not really because I'm still really lazy. REALLY lazy.

and one more...
I found another pic on facebook from party that I quite like. I mean, part of me is mad because I was really good at not smiling in all the other photos and this spoils it but YOU CAN SEE BLUE. And it's actually blue looking, not sewer green which is a more accurate description of it's current state. D has someone's glasses on. We took turns wearing them. They weren't T's though. There were quite a few nerds. YUP. It's T's party tonight :) chances of me remembering to take pics is slim to none but there you go.

70). Watch All of Supernatural
After some intense *cough wikipedia cough* research I have discovered that there are 5 seasons of Supernatural, with a 6th on the way. I have seasons 1-4 to watch, which I have borrowed from A. A is becoming my library. It is appreciated. Muchly. Anyhoo, my plan to watch all of Supernatural is well on the way. I've watched the first season. It was fun. They depend too much on suspense though, and I find suspense boring. Munchkin decided to borrow them but is watching them too fast. He doesn't have uni assignments as a distraction. What took me a week or two took him two days. So now he's ahead. GRR FACE. That's about all I've got to tell you.
It's T's birthday tomorrow :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

chicken tonight
Last month I said something along the lines of: "Next month I will make an amazing meal and take photos and hold onto the recipe as if my life depended on it". So I have a ridiculous amount of assignments, and procrastibaking is taking it too far at the moment. So I'm compromising and including another tuesday night recipe. From the checklist created by me last month: make an amazing meal ( check ). Take photos ( not check. I didn't think I'd be blogging it. ). Hold onto the recipe ( check! I half made it up and used online stuff so I have a record of it ).
RECIPE: [TERIYAKI CHICKEN]
ingredients:
500g chicken breast
4 tbs sake
8 tbs soy sauce
8 tbs mirin
4 tbs sugar
enough jasmine rice to feed x amount of people
frozen vegetable mix
method:
Put the rice in a bowl, covered and then some with water and put in the microwave for 10 mins. When it pips stir it and put it back in for 10. Meanwhile, chuck the chicken and all the other stuff in a bowl. But the bowl in the fridge for 15 mins. Cook up the frozen veg mix in a fry pan. once it starts to defrost put in a bowl to the side. Get the chicken out of the fridge, put vegetable oil in the pan and then put the chicken in. It'll splatter. Watch your eyes. Put the rest of the sauce in too. Let it simmer a bit. Then chuck the vegies back in. SERVE.
That was a bit blase. Woops. You get the idea though. I didn't really know what I was doing. If you follow the instructions on the vegie pack and the rice pack you should be fine. Everyone here loved it. I'm keen to make it again. So yay for May and 45). I guess.

oh yeah...
I didn't pierce my nose. I had ice and rings and pins and tissues. But the ice just made my nose run, the ring wouldn't go through, the pin got half way through and then I got that ridiculous itchy nose syndrome thing where I can no longer function. YEAH. So no metal in my nose. I also thought it was quite funny that a) Munchkin told Mother Dearest I was intending on doing it and b) that she got thingy about it. Oh sure get a tattoo that is so goddamn permanent, but don't you dare put a hole through your nose for one night. Well, more of a 'if that get's infected...'. Thanks Mum. Hadn't thought of that. *cough cough*. Yep, just in case you were wondering. k.
PARTAY
In typical me fashion, I completely forgot to take photos on saturday night at K and El's party. Even though I said I would. I did take my camera. It just sat in my bag with all the other useless crap I take everywhere I go. However other people did take photos. Or give me their camera to take pics, like this first one. Well, take pics after drunk me worked out I was actually taking a video. Besides the point.

Left to Right: D as a punk, A as a cheerleader, K as a hippy aka herself and Q as slash.

Me the goth, A the cheerleader and some random being a lad.

M as a japanese tourist ( her and E matched ) and Me.
And I only just realised that Slash is not a stereotype. WTF Q?. So yeah, party that didn't end with vom. FUCK YEAH. Cheeseburgers are a much better ending. It was quite amusing to watch people's costumes slowly disintegrate. Nerds lost glasses, heels came off, jumpers covered everything up and A and K actually swapped outfits. Nothing changed with me though, once I start drinking I stop moving and therefore sat in front of a fire with some awesome people gossiping about shit all and sharing a cigar or two ( thanky L ). I have no idea when the next party will be. This saddens me. I'm much too lazy to make an effort to see people. YUP.
Don't even wonder how this relates to my list. It doesn't. Except maybe the keep in contact bit. That was the first time all of my 6 were together in one place in yonks. Which was nice. I miss that.

Stomp on Faces
I haven't done anything list related or blog worthy. I'm drowning in uni work. So I'm procrastinating. I felt the need to share my excitement about this saturday. K and El are having a joint 18th party. A themed party. 'stereotypes'. So I'm goth-ing up. It's gonna be mad fun! I borrowed A's corset. I bought these mad boots...
Well... I would have bought them anyway. They're so goddamn hot. YEAH. And I'm considering piercing my nose. Which I'd do myself. Which is probably asking for trouble. But I haven't done anything really stupid in a while. That's a lie. I've done more stupid ( yet awesomely fun ) things this year than I have my entire life. But yes. S suggested I just use a fake ring in my nose. Which I already have two of. But they pinch. And I'd rather the 10mins of intense pain to the 5hrs of annoying pinching. Which is probably sadistic or masochistic or another one of those psychological disorder words but that's the honest truth. Munchkin gave me a huge lecture on infection and something and something. I'm thinking forgiveness rather than permission with parents. They're pretty cool with the mutilation of my body when it's hide-able, but I don't know how a piece of metal in my nose will go down. MEH. So yup. Saturday. Hopefully, pics will follow. Who am I kidding. There will def be pics. Mostly coz I've only blogged 4ish times this month and we're getting close to the end. FARK. I need to bake. If no one else dresses up I'm going to be really pissed. I will stomp their faces in with my new shiny boots.

Rubix cube sob story
I've been incredibly lazy and for that I apologise. I'm going to complain now because that's about all I'm good for.

MY FACE HURTS. I have a cold. Again. So sinus's are all mmm stabby and snot. YUM. And then my wisdom tooth is cutting through again. Other side this time. Still only one. And I've managed to bite myself on the inside of my cheek and anyone who has done this before can tell you how goddamn annoying it is. I hit my head getting out of my uni friend's car the other day. At the time it was all 'ow.. fuck it... OW!'. Move on. No time. I could have been concussed. But now it's all bruised and sensitive and covered in hair so I can't even show how awesome I am at dealing with intense bruising. Yep. That's the story of my hurting face.

Sad news, friends. This picture clearly shows a rubix cube in multiple pieces. It got crushed in my uni bag. And by crushed I mean, disintegrated into more pieces than you thought possible. My uni friends managed to complete it in a 2D sense. It was kinda giggle worthy. And then about 5 of us pulled out cameras and phones to take pics of it. We are AWESOME. Anyway, this was Munchkin's rubix cube. Which I'll need to replace. Yeah. I managed to complete it once before it destroyed itself. That was an epic moment. On the train, with my cheat sheet next to me. And then suddenly it was a perfect rubix cube and I hadn't had to use the cheat sheet at all. Instead of dancing around in circles like an idiot ( which is what I really wanted to do, but couldn't, because I was on a train, and society frowns upon random outbursts of happy dancing ) I grinned like a nutter. Made a friend over it. In that, I don't know his name, but he's in my course and waved when he got off the train. Totally counts as a friend. But yeah, tried to repeat the awesomeness but failed EPICALLY. It's cool. I'll replace the cube, complete it five times in a row with no cheating ( well codes and shit, but no looking at them ) and then cross off 37).! YEAH.

movie #7
I get to cross off 2). See a movie alone because of this movie. Which is awesome on its own, but I actually really enjoyed this movie. But yes, Alone ness first. It wasn't really odd at all except before going in and straight after it finished. Those were the moments where there would normally be social ness. In fact, I tried to steal internet in order to be social before the movie. Which is pathetic ( more pathetic in that it didn't work ). The guys sitting behind me were rather entertaining and much like the people I'd normally see movies with. So that was cool. And they laughed almost as often as I did. Almost.I loved Hit-Girl. None of that pink girly shit. Twas awesome. But at the same time terrifying, in that killing people and getting shot didn't phase her in the slightest. And Nicolas Cage?! WTF? I had no idea he was in it.
I'm falling asleep and have no idea what to write about. Red Mist reminded me of Neville Longbottom. Completely different guy. This guy was in Role Models though. That's why he looked familiar. The main character should have looked familiar but didn't. K told me he was in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and I had to IMDB stalk him before I could even see a resemblance. They changed his hair dramatically, ok? Plus he tended to have blood all over his face in this movie.
Umm.... soundtrack.... I don't remember much. There was one scene with the chick killing a ridiculous amount of guys to 90's angsty girl rock. "I DON'T GIVE A DAMN BOUT MY REPUTATION". As if you don't know what I'm talking about. It was pretty awesome.
5 stars? I'm feeling generous. Mostly sleepy. Whatever. It was a good movie. I'd enjoy watching it again. Ok, nap time.

I hope that dreams come when I die
DREAMS FOR APRIL FOR 92). :
1). I had caught a train to the city but got turned around a lot. It was very confusing. Munchkin had some sort of stall wagon thing. I was near the ocean. I didn't know anyone around me and felt really alone. Then there was a guy from uni who also didn't know anyone. We were both happy to find a familiar face. We started talking and walking. I was telling him about life and how life wasn't short and whoever said that was pretty stupid. We ended up on the wharf and there was no one around. It was just really peaceful.
>> I now notice this guy at uni way too much. He just seems to always be there, even though we don't have any tuts together. So I've picked up on all this stuff about him, coz I'm exceptionally observant. I don't know why I had a dream about him. ODD. I think I need to adventure to the beach before it gets too cold. I really do get a sense of peace from visiting the ocean. Which is ridiculously cliche. I always get sunburnt too. I should hate the beach.

asian mini-mart and other quests of late
My melbourne trip was quite the fun. It's really easy to sum up quickly but I'm pulling the my-blog-my-rules line, and giving a step by step run down. But feel lucky in that you were going to get in detail diagrams and pictures illustrating various aspects of my weekend, but Jasper doesn't have a MS Paint alternative. Well, Adobe Illustrator but thats going high-tech and beyond my knowledge. So therefore, no diagrams or pictures. Photos though! I'm not very good at taking the tourist shots. Or even happy snaps. I secretly hate people who take photos. It's such a 'What are you doing?!' response. Half the time there's no point. And the pouting scares me. So I try not to subject others to this treatment. But I took a couple :)
DAY 1. Papa rushes me out the door. I almost forget my ticket ( as in give me the keys, I forgot something important, I know we're in the car already, it's REALLY important ). I get there with LOADS of time. They say get there 2 hours before so i figured an 1/1/2 would be fine. And get there with 2 hours. Cool? anyhoo... Airport. People start asking me questions. Do I look like a frequent flier? WTF? don't ask me! Airport breakfast alone was surprisingly good. Then I bought myself a book :) One of the Charlaine Harris one's I am missing.
Then I got on this plane. The one in the front, not the red one. I was mad excited by this stage. I love flying. I was the jittery kid waiting at the gates of Disneyland and everyone else looked bored or terrified. And then flying got more cool points because I had a window seat. And then everything crashed and burned because I was put next to a small child. And small child's sibling next to him. And the sibling felt the need to fake scream. TERRIBLE. Get there, get picked up. Realise why I miss my aunt so much. She's just so frikin awesome. And my little cousins are pretty adorable. Right, and then I ditched them for Rach.
See the child in the pink dress? MOST ANNOYING CHILD EVER. And wearing crocs. Now you agree with me.
Got on a train at this station. Trains in Melbourne are fucked. They are so confusing. The screens suck, there's no maps, the trains only have one level and therefore so much less seating and they only tell you the final destination. LAME. Anyhoo, after a while of 'where are you? where am I? WHATS GOING ON!?', Rach and I got on a tram. Missed our stop. Walked around for long time. Found the missing asian mini-mart. Consumed cake. Marvelled at trippy owl backbacks. People watched at Federation Square. Twas awesome. I quite like Melbourne. There's some pretty cool people there ( I'm judging by their shoes. I think it's a pretty good indicator ). Yeah. So Rach had to be back to the boarding house by 9.30 so I got my aunt to pick me up because she offered and I already hated the trains with an acute intensity. But it was cold and I didn't want to wait outside in a foreign city... Ok, it was only the cold bothering me but I didn't want to sound completely hopeless. Anyway, avoiding the cold in a hotel foyer. They had awesome chairs. I was tempted to take a picture but I already felt odd enough that I was sitting in a random hotel. And then car trip back. Yip Yip.
DAY 2. Uncle and small ones took me to VIC markets ( YEAH, one more down! ). This is my little cousins in the car. Iris is pretend yawning. She's such a drama queen, it's hilarious. I really hope she grows out of the 'long hair and pink are my favourites' stage. Anyway. Markets. They're amazing. I could literally spend hours in there. I did spend hours in there. More hours then. They have fabulous cheese :) and clothes and shoes and jewellery and STUFF. Oh, yeah and wigs.
This is my cousin in a pink wig. Isn't she adorable?? NAWWW. I tried on this punk rocker blue crop style wig. Twas rad. But 50$. And it made my eyebrows look weird. So no extra blue hair for me. YUP. Left markets and Rach. WHAT ELSE DID I DO ON SATURDAY? darn memory, letting me down. Oh yeah. I found out there was a bathroom in my room. An en suite. I didn't explore my room at all. Woops.
DAY 3. I went to Danish school! It was fun. I felt so awkward though. I hardly understood anything. I was a sheep puppet in my aunts play. All I said was "yah". Which is Danish for "yes". EVERYONE WAS BLONDE. And then I watched Iris' class. They sang a song about a bear and then got chased. I got cranky at the feral kids. Then we went to ikea and marvelled at the marvellousness that is ikea. And then back to their home in Sunburry.
In the afternoon I had an intense desire to shop. So I took their other car ( i forgot to take a pic of the outside. SORRY! and it was amazing too ) and went down to the local shops and laughed hysterically at their sad excuse of shopping. Which was all closed anyway.
Flower buying then illegal photo taking of investment property for parents ( it wasn't really illegal, just felt that way. Empty house, no one around, taking pics and trying not to fall over on uneven soil ). I managed to get around by following a map. That's fucking amazing. That night, after dinner, little cousin Henry, who is only 18 months, was eating a yogurt. Which is mostly boring but he had the spoon in his mouth, and then was moving it up and down while watching it cross eyed. He looked so much like a chameleon. NAWWW.
DAY 4. Plane home! Which was hilarious because we were running extreme late. And it was my aunts birthday. And I got to the airport with literally minutes to spare. Then experienced the worst tasting cookie in the universe. Got asked more questions about flying and airports. Didn't get a window seat. And the woman next to me had fuzzy hair so I couldn't even see past her to the window. I've never been surprised by landing before. Yup. And then I went straight to uni. With my suitcase. SO MUCH FUN. ( this was where I would include illustration of how the size of my suitcase compared to the guy on the train this morning. He made me feel so much better ).
Ok, so I get to cross off travel to a new place and the market one, and I went two days without a computer ( I know, I'm still alive, crazy, right? ). This makes me happy.
The End.
This just reminded me of a bunch of guys from school. Which made me laugh. The 'gabba' bit. YUP. MuchLove.
