who can decide what they dream?
DREAMS FOR JULY FOR 92).:
1). We went on a family trip to the snow. Munchkin wanted to go tobogganing, but the toboggans were more like dodgem cars. They were being driven by penguins. The penguins wouldn't let us have a turn. I found the guy who was in charge. Everyone was scared of him. I told him to give us a turn but he just laughed at me so I pushed his eyes into his head with my thumbs. It didn't phase him so I pinched his collar bones and twisted until they snapped.
>> So that was oddly violent. Usually I'm piss weak in my dreams. Yay for the change. I appreciate it. I'm not sure breaking a guy's clavicle will help in most situations though. I don't really grasp the significance of penguins and snow and whatnot. Maybe I should go to the snow! or not. I was probably just cold.
2). It was Mother Dearest's birthday party and Mother Dearest was freaking out. She didn't think we could cook enough pancakes and potatoes for everyone, and should therefore just cancel the party. T and I were saying we could cook some in his aunt's house but suddenly the party has started and we were at a bar. A guy from school was there telling everyone about his list. I was getting pissed off because his list was crap and had silly things on it.
>> I love list dreams. Makes me feel like it's not some weird superficial unachievable thing. Mother Dearest didn't have pancakes or potatoes at her actual party so everything was fine. She does get a bit frantic with cleaning and cooking and whatnot for every party gathering of family.
3). I was running late to an event at uni. I had someone else's tickets and I couldn't find this person to give them their tickets. My old maths teacher was there and wished me luck. I got to the ticket booth and they wanted me to pay 50$ to take a maths test I hadn't studied for. I stormed off, found some people I knew and went down to the wharf. Everyone was asleep on the ground in a protest because there wasn't any water.
>> Funny how thirst translates into dreams. Also, I kind of sort of miss doing maths. SHHHH. Not that much. It's just so clear cut and what I'm doing now is kind of wishy washy when it comes to right and wrong answers.
4). It was the day of camp, but I had no time to pack so I got T to pack some things for me and met him on the bus. He forgot to pack me any shirts so I was wearing my hoodie over swimmers ( and jeans ). We got there and everyone rushed to get a good campsite. I got really lost and then found a chick I knew from the coast. She had her car, so we drove around trying to find where to go. The roads were so tiny her car only just fit. We got to a market and started talking to a lady. She was talking about currency but I was really confused so I stole some food from her stall. She chased after me. I found a lady who owned a farm who told me how everything worked. Across the lake a circus rolled in, with fireworks going off.
>> I only ever went on one school camp. And it was messed up. It wasn't really good or bad per se, let's just stick with memorable. So I've always been kinda keen on going on another camp to see if it was just that one or all camps are that weird. T wouldn't actually forget shirts. That's silly.
5). It was the first day back at uni and I was driving this massive black SUV thing. Uni looked like it had been deserted for several years. I went exploring on some rock cliff face thing and almost fell off. I met up with Munchkin and his friend kissed me. I caught a bus back home alone. People kept singing on the bus. There was one girl sitting behind and opposite me who was singing really loudly so I turned around and coughed in her face and said "yeah, I'm not even going to be subtle about it, shut the fuck up". She was then really scared of me. I got off the bus at a deserted train station. There was a big guy there who was being a creep so I hit him over the head with a board that lit up and had cat in the hat on it. That's when I noticed the tattoo of the map on his neck, and started to be nice to him instead. I took the bit of broken board with cat in the hat on it to a tiny tv room where R was. He was playing video games and didn't care about cat in the hat.
>> I do quite love cat in the hat. They tried to make a tv show with puppets and it fails epically. Which is probably what prompted this. Like I said, appreciate being able to be violent. Munchkin's friend kissing me made me feel dirty. I did not enjoy that. I don't understand why I dreamed that at all. There's always annoying people on public transport. I just tend to tell them where to stick it more these days.
6). T and I were crossing the road when some old lady started yelling at us. I ignored the fact she was yelling and asked her questions about her shopping trolley. She was riding in it and it somehow still went forward. We got to my apartment where everyone was waiting. We were celebrating the fact that I got the apartment and my up-coming wedding. Little cousins gave me a mouse and a hamster but no where to put them. It wasn't a problem until I wanted to eat. I went to the bathroom to keep them in the bath but the bath had a giant hole in it, filled with water. I didn't want the mouse and hamster to drown so I didn't put them in.
>> I don't understand. Was I marrying my apartment? My future partner wasn't there. Well, he wasn't helping me find a spot for the animals so either he wasn't there or he was completely useless. I really want to know what the trolley was all about.
So... R guilt tripped me. And it actually worked. So this is me blogging dreams and making an effort considering it's already the 9th. Woops. My camera, which was found, is temporarily out of my care, so as much as I want to show you my jewellery, I can't. Soon friends, soon.

12). Go on a roadtrip
I know! I'm sorry. /excuses and other crap. T and I went on a road trip to the central coast. Originally we were going to leave at 6 in the morning for some weird reason I can't remember. So I woke up really goddamn early to go road trippin' but then cranky morning me said fuck it and rolled over and went back to sleep. So come 8.30 we started road trip all the way around the block. That's how thrillingly awesome we are. Nah, his aunt is on hols so we stole her coffee, I ate pizza and T fed the dog.
And then we actually started driving. Crazy, I know. Full what blasting mix cds and singing along. The yellow dinosaur looked like it should glow in the dark. Hit central coast and they've changed EVERYTHING. Well not really, they just changed the road leading from freeway to old neighbourhood. Looked at my old house, considered visiting ( not breaking in per se, just looking around ) but there was a car out front and a window open. And I'm lazy. Then went to After School Care. It's looking pretty run down. AND THEY PUT A BUILDING IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FOTHERMUCKING FIELD. Community centre thing. I used to run around there completely feral, it was awesome. Lighting fires and being a bitch and pretending to be psychic. So much fun. No. Giant building instead. And then we ran away, drove past my primary school. There were extra buildings where the graveyard jungle used to be and giant half wall fence thing.
We visited where T used to live. Which doesn't even have a house anymore. Just land for sale. The pool was even filled in. Ooh, pic. Only proof I have of our adventure. Taken on my phone, btw. Totes impressed with it's amazingness. Be amazed with me.

There's a lake behind us. There were pelicans. It was so ridiculously freezing. My foot just went to sleep and pins and needles and I can't function. ARGH. Ok, better. Sorry, that was completely unrelated. Onwards.
By this stage I was starving because cold pizza and coffee isn't very good for hunger. So we went to where T used to work and had fancy breakfast. And I should have blogged about this earlier so it wouldn't be such an effort to remember everything. We went to this place called Magenta something. Houses out of no where! There used to be just some trees, a walking track maybe and a tip. And now there is a giant golf course and houses and roads and other stuff. NUTS.
We visited his grandfather who thought T was T's uncle. We visited T's friend who is VERY pregnant. T had a freak out. We bought a heater for T's grandfather, took his old heater, gave it to pregnant friend. And T also bought her a vacuum cleaner. Made sense if you were there. Then I drove and there are too many round abouts and T's car is too big and it was mildly terrifying. But we all survived.
And then the roads disappeared and it was dirt and tree stumps and rocks. We visited T's fake grandfather in the middle of no where. Part of me was convinced T had befriended me just for this moment where I'd trust him to drive me to this hole in the ground and then skin me alive or some shit. Wait, I drove myself to my own doom. Weird. Anyway, his fake grandfather is hilarious. There were geese and a giant dog and a crazy family and then other people stopped by and it was all a bit FARK, WHAT'S GOING ON but fun all the same. Fake grandfather has a tat of an eye on the top of his head. R suggested it was because he was in a cult but T assures me it was for a bet. A 'I bet you wouldn't get a tat of an eye on your head' bet.
And then we drove back to Sydney. I have no strong desire to go back to the coast any time soon. No offence, central coast but you scare me. High five for completing a road trip. YEAH.

Life was all a Dream...
DREAMS FOR MAY FOR 92). :
1). I was in an art gallery with a bunch of people and some friends. It suddenly dawned on us that the zombie apocalypse was worse than we thought and we needed to take cover rather than go about our daily lives. I went downstairs to tell cousin dearest that we needed to leave. He was a hippy artist and he didn't want to leave. He got eaten by a bunch of zombies. A couple of us were in a park wondering where we could go. There were houses across from the park with bars on the windows. The one we decided was safe had a giant elevator floor with a bunch of dogs on one level. One of the dogs was a shape shifter or something. I had to knock the owner out with a shovel. Once I got on the level above the one with the dogs I had lost everyone else. I realised I was really hungry but I couldn't get to the sandwiches which were in the basement, which was the level under the dogs. A friend from school showed up and was showing me how he'd tried to give himself a tattoo like mine but it was terrible. Everyone else was stuck in Kmart.
>> This was my last night in Melbourne. I woke up and giggled at how retarded my subconscious is. My cousin is the least likely person to become an artist. My friends are much too prepared for a zombie apocalypse for it to take me by surprise at an art gallery. So basically this dream is completely irrational. More so than usual. And I have no answers, so much so, I just procrastinated it. SERIOUSLY. I didn't even mean to. Umm... maybe I'm psychic. There will be a zombie apocalypse. I should avoid art galleries.
2). Papa had to drop me at school but mother dearest had told him the wrong time so we were ridiculously early. I was straightening my hair in the car outside the school, but it was primary school. I saw K crossing the road and got out of the car to tell her something but El was there too so I couldn't. They were walking around a cul-de-sac so I went into the school. T and D were arguing over whether T was 'jagged' or not. A was acting like a 10 year old. She had been dared to pee on a letter and then call the police. She walked into the other room, called the police, talked to someone briefly before an alarm went off.
>> Nup. I have no words. This is literally unable to be interpreted.
3). I desperately had to study but L and K got me to drink tequila with them in the school bus bay. Eventually I left, because I had to find and save Lucy and Piper, my grandparents' dogs, before they got to the ocean. Then I had to get my hair cut. Then I had to pull my study notes out of corpses' hands.
>> I really did need to study for typo. But I procrastinated and slept instead. And therefore dreamed that I had actual adventures preventing me from studying, rather than my own laziness. Oh, and I haven't tried tequila and I should.
4). I was staying in a summer house that had a wide verandah all the way round, with hammocks. Papa had aviators on and wouldn't take them off. He was trying to get a great tan and would change hammocks for optimum sunshine. H was standing on the front steps telling me it was time for him to go as if he'd been there a while but I hadn't realised he was even in the house.
>> I DON'T KNOW. Papa trying to get sun is weird. We're a very pale family. Hammocks would be fun about now. Also, summer would be fun too. Happy winter everyone. FARK. I hate being cold.
5). I had to visit someone in hospital but I had no way of getting there. I decided to take munchkin's scooter to where mother dearest was and take her car. On the way there was one of the drunks that talk to themselves from Kingswood station. He told me all my friends were at a party in Beecroft and I had to get there.
>> Why would I not just got straight to the hospital? WHY SCOOTER? I can't walk across a flat even surface without stumbling, adding wheels to the equation isn't intelligent. Ok, my sub conscious is telling me to exercise more, visit people and listen to people because they might tell you something important. Why I'd trust the drunk is a different question all together.
The sixth dream was also in Melbourne. I woke up, knew I'd forget it so wrote down quick notes, then went back to sleep. So my notes say "Papa and aunt. Party at train station". I cannot remember anything. I remember writing it but no recollection of what it means. Much frustrating.
I know I keep promising next month will be better, but I do believe this time I won't be lying. I have uni break after thursday. YAY. I need a job. If you want to hire me, let me know. I'm that desperate. Well not really because I'm still really lazy. REALLY lazy.

70). Watch All of Supernatural
After some intense *cough wikipedia cough* research I have discovered that there are 5 seasons of Supernatural, with a 6th on the way. I have seasons 1-4 to watch, which I have borrowed from A. A is becoming my library. It is appreciated. Muchly. Anyhoo, my plan to watch all of Supernatural is well on the way. I've watched the first season. It was fun. They depend too much on suspense though, and I find suspense boring. Munchkin decided to borrow them but is watching them too fast. He doesn't have uni assignments as a distraction. What took me a week or two took him two days. So now he's ahead. GRR FACE. That's about all I've got to tell you.
It's T's birthday tomorrow :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Was it a dream?
DREAMS FOR MARCH FOR 92). :
1). I was in a fancy shower where I could float. It was like no gravity but the water still fell. The guy who invented it was really happy. My oldest friend was having an engagement party but couldn't work out where to put everyone's shoes so she was running around with a bright green pair of knee high boots.
>> I think floating would be UH-MAZING. And I can quite easily see her having a freak out at her own engagement party. She's not engaged though. Not as far as I know, anyway.
2). I was on a family picnic in a giant park with loads of bike tracks. Papa got really cranky and stormed off to a maintenance shed and we all followed. He somehow pinned Munchkin down and put three huge holes in his chest with a power drill. I took Munchkin away, called T and got him to drive us. Munchkin wasn't bleeding much so I was worried about his teeth. I took him to a dentist because I knew he would have ground his teeth. The dentist said he wouldn't be able to tell how bad it was for another 3 days. I got mad, and then took him to the hospital.
>> I would honestly do anything for Munchkin. And I think I was cranky at Papa at the time. And it's good to know that T is super reliable in my subconscious.
3). I was on an adventure island with rides and camping and was trying to leave. There was a boat but it wouldn't come any closer to land. A bunch of people jumped in and started swimming to it. One of the guys, still on land, was playing with a shark. Everyone was telling me to jump but I was going to anyway. Then I realised my ticket would get wet, so I didn't. We decided to stay on the island in the cabins, but we rode around in mini jeeps and got really drunk and partied before that. A disappeared and no one could find her. B kept yelling at me to not sleep with H. There was a giant alarm clock with arms, that was going to slap me if I didn't wake up.
>> Ermmm... I want to go swimming? yeah. That's what it means. And, the alarm clock is my hatred of waking up.
4). I was visiting someone at their uni and they took me to a science lab. In the lab, we had a magik school bus moment and went inside a dead guy. In the lungs, there was a sick strong man, everytime he tried to lift the weights they went hollow. Then we visited Q, who was really upset. He put on some other guy's clothes, got really happy and started my course at uni.
>> Who hasn't wanted a magik school bus moment? it was freaking awesome. And the strong man in the lungs is... trouble breathing coz it's too easy? that made sense in my mind. And sorry, Q. Your letter does not relate to your name in the slightest.
So not many this month because being forced to wake up at 6.30 is torturous and un-dream-friendly. So maybe this month will be more, I have mini holidays. Which I'm excited for. And sorry the explanations are crap. I really have no idea. I should start looking them up.

book #6
Circus of the Damned by Laurell K. Hamilton is the 3rd book in the series. And still beyond amazing. These blog posts are redundant as they are so darn predictable. You know full well by now that if it's an Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter novel I'm going to be gushing. And I will be continuing to gush for a while to come as there are 15 I believe. I decided to read them in order without other books in between because a) I'm really enjoying them and b) I'd hate to distract myself from the story line. My tendency to pick up vampire books, even unintentionally, might end up being confusing if I start jumping series.I've put off writing this because I couldn't really think of anything new to say. I'd have to use thesaurus.com to find synonyms for 'amazing' and 'fantastic'. Putting off writing about this one hasn't stopped me from reading though. I'm now up to 6.
You know what? READ IT. Why did I put this on my list? Can I alter it? Can I write about the entire series once I've finished it? I think that would be amazing. After a strange convo with B about not cliff jumping, musicals and other list related activities I realised I need someone to check I'm not cheating. That person is T. He has a list. I see him daily. If I don't see him during an entire day, we've at least talked on the phone, texted or talked while one of us was half asleep and therefore too lazy to open eyes to actually see the other. So yes, I shall talk to T, see if I can be lazy this way. It would benefit all involved I believe. I promise extra long reviews. Comment your opinions on this matter, if you please.
5 stars. Obviously.
I found the right cover this time. I'm quite happy about that :)

56). Move out
Moving out is impossibly difficult. I knew it wouldn't be easy. I don't have much money, I've never done anything like it before and there's so many things to consider. T and I have had some lucky breaks. My aunt and uncle and cousin are moving overseas for my uncle's work so we've been able to have alot of their furniture and bits and pieces which make it alot easier. And I just found out my great great aunt wants to give us cutlery and other bits and pieces.
This is all well and good. I'm EXTREMELY happy that we will be able to fill our apartment with things and not have to live without necessities. Having a place is a different story. As much as I love that I have T to move out with and feel so much better about the whole idea knowing he's in it with me, it's getting frustrating. He's putting too many restrictions and conditions.
I still don't understand why we can't live in a 'bad' neighbourhood. It's not like we can afford to be picky. And we havn't even been to these ( ridiculously cheaper ) places before he judges the whole area and calls it off limits. And excuse me for not trusting a 'wise' aunt. Just take me there and prove me wrong, rather than look at me like I'm a complete idiot.
And now it's no, we can't live too far away from here because of people. Excluding the <10 people I truly care about I really rather hate people. I'm not good at small talk, I'm not very trusting and I don't really see the point in knowing loads of people. I also am a firm believer in the notion of 'absense makes the heart grow fonder'. So my point being, even if we live that much further away it just makes the times we spend with people of a higher quality. Plus, there are people everywhere. No joke. YOU WILL FIND SOMEONE TO BE FRIENDS WITH.
I sound prudish. Let's look at it from another angle then. I have comprimised. I wanted to live near the train station because I do not have a car, I dislike nature and exercise and I think it will encourage me to be slightly more social. Plus I will need to be on the train at least three days a week. I comprimised and said sure, ok, let's live further away, I'll find a bus or use your car. But let's not forget we'll have to pay higher rent because you need a place for your car, and the fact that that was my ONLY condition.
So yeah, I snapped, T. I know you told me not to. Let's just be greatful I didn't use my feet this time.
